The Soleri Archives team met with a team from SMOCA Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art at Cosanti to view some of Paolo Soleri’s early models stored there, for possible inclusion in the planned 2017 exhibition at the Smoca Museum.

Here is Soleri Archive Director Tomiaki Tamura, giving us a peek at one of Paolo Soleri’s original silt-cast bridges, the “SPANNING BRIDGE”.
A silt-cast model of the “RESEARCH DAM”, carved and cast by Paolo Soleri in the early 1960’s.
The “BOW BRIDGE” model carved and cast by Paolo Soleri in the early 1960’s, is still in pristine condition.
