Last Saturdays Bluegrass festival drew a good size and lively crowd.
JAM PACK BUES & GRASS NEIGHBORHOOD BAND has been a definite favorite of the festival since its very beginning. This group was started by music teacher Annie Beach and has resulted in several bands that have grown out of this group.

The Jam Pak Blues n’ Grass also hosted a free full day workshop INSTRUMENT PETTING ZOO, with guitars, fiddles, banjos, mandolins, dulcimers, and wash-tub bass for children and adults.
The MAYER FIRE DEPARTMENT was on hand in case of any emergency.
OLD BLUE SOUND took care of all of the equipment and sound, the best professional sound management in the Southwest.
There was a raffle for a guitar, here is the happy winner.
And there was a raffle for one of the beautiful SOLERI Cause Bells.
The show was closed by FLINTHILL SPECIAL.
During the last bit of their performance, the rain and wind, threatening all day, finally lost patience and come down with lots of pent up energy.
Nevertheless, it was a terrific event. Don’t miss it next year.
