This continues our report from 4/13/11 about preparation for the Bluegrass Festival tomorrow, Saturday April 16. 2011, from 10am to 6pm.

Here we can see both sides of the completed railings on the lower part of the side stairs.

Mayer Chamber of Commerce members met at Arcosanti Wednesday evening to discuss last minute arrangements, …

… like where the vendors will be located, parking arrangements, the bier garden, security, greeting and signs, and all the little details to make this a successful event.

The Arcosanti Clay Club, a clay venture separate from the Soleri Ceramics Studio, made lots of “Empty Bowls”, that will be for sale in the cafe during the event. [Can be used for some of the yummy dishes or soups that the Cafe staff will serve all throughout the event].

There are many efforts going on to get the Arcosanti site ready, but this concludes our report of festival preparation. We will post photos of the event this coming Monday and Wednesday.

A few more items, people are asked not to bring in coolers or chairs. And, a ticket [of $10 per person] will give a 10% discount for some items in the Arcosanti gallery and visitors center.
