In the first seminar week of every Arcosanti Workshop, we offer a Work Opportunity where participants get to dive into a project with the Construction Team. These brief opportunities allow “Workshoppers” to dive in and get their hands dirty with some serious hard work. February’s Workshop did just that this week by helping the Construction team with the Visitor Parking Fence.
With guidance from David, Workshop participants Kevin and Bryce remove wooden forms from concrete previously poured to move it in place for the next section of the fence.
After all the wooden forms were in place, the team was finished with their first work opportunity. The following Monday, they joined construction again to pour concrete into the forms they built. Stay posted for an Arconews post about their concrete pour.
