Losida Garcia sits on the door of the cube she’s called home for the past two years.
She left Arcosanti on Monday morning much to the regret of the Landscaping Crew and
her friends in the community.
Facilities Crewmember Curtis Arnold also left Arcosanti this week to possibly work overseas.

A photo of one of Losida’s famous dinners: Orzo and Pesto Stuffed Tomatoes,
Olive/Pepper Foccacia Bread, Organic Zucchini from our Gardens baked in Walnut/Garlic Sauce,
and Caeser Salad with Capers and Sundried Tomatoes. Arcosanti Organics Manager,
Adam Nordfors did the accompanying drawings.
Baby chicks arrived in Camp (and into the world) this past week.
The black chicken is acting as surrogate mom to the three chicks.
Camp also houses several hens, peacocks, guinea hens, and a duck.
Arriving and Departing
Monsoons have rolled in many afternoons this past month bringing
dramatic lighting storms, cooler air, and much needed rain for our soil.
