Staying at Arcosanti gives our guests the opportunity to have a more immersive experience with our beautiful buildings, the natural environment of the high desert, and the principles of Arcology.
Our rooms are designed to encourage a simpler way of living and a deeper connection to nature. Emphasizing on the ecology part of “arcology,” the suites have many features that expand our connection to nature: natural lighting, passive heating and cooling systems, outdoor patios, and large windows that offer breathtaking views of the mesa and the Agua Fria river that runs through our site.
As an overnight guest, you will have the freedom to explore the public areas of Arcosanti on your own, use our cliffside swimming pool (as weather allows), hike our trails, visit the Sky Theater, and explore the 860+ acres of surrounding open nature on our property. On a clear, moonless night, the Milky Way is easily visible to the naked eye.
Our Café is currently closed as we explore opportunities with local entrepreneurs and food producers. We suggest packing in some good food/snacks and a few drinks.

The Sky Suite is a spectacular space to fully immerse yourself into the architecture and communal environment of Arcosanti.
Enjoy panoramic views of the high desert landscape, kitchen, living room, private bathroom and two small bedrooms that can sleep up to 4 people. This cozy space is equipped with all the necessary amenities to make your overnight experience at Arcosanti truly memorable. The Sky suite sits atop the 3rd level of the east crescent with an outdoor patio overlooking the amphitheater.

Recently updated, this open concept space is furnished with a queen bed, small single mattress, and a kitchenette. The space also includes what was once Soleri’s personal drafting room and table with beautiful, unobstructed views of the surrounding desert.

Tucked into the second level of the East Crescent, the Moon Suite is a tranquil studio that embodies Arcosanti’s visionary design.
This open-concept retreat features a full kitchen, a cozy queen sized bed, and earth-toned brutalist architecture that blends harmoniously with the desert landscape. Large south facing windows offer a front row seat of the Colly Soleri Amphitheater below, where the interplay of shadow and sound colors the breathing nature of the Arcology.
Situated just below the main site, our canyon-side Greenhouse Guest Rooms at Arcosanti provide a quiet, contemplative, restful space to stay.
All rooms have a view of the Agua Fria River riparian area and the cliffs across the Valletta Canyon, beautifully illuminated by sunrise.
Once onsite, overnight guests will drive down a 1/2 mile dirt road to park below the Greenhouse Guest Rooms, which are then accessible by an inclining footpath with stairs. The rooms have simple amenities, and do not include televisions or refrigerators.
The Guest Rooms share a community kitchen with refrigerators and cooking appliances.
Please be advised: Air conditioners are available in all guestrooms, but not in all other areas of site. Please come prepared for extreme variations in temperature, especially during the summer months.
Pet Policy: We love animals at Arcosanti! Unfortunately, as a courtesy to our guests who might have allergies, they are not allowed to stay in our guest rooms. We only make exceptions for service animals and there is a $30 deep cleaning fee for their stay.
Smoking: All of our rooms are smoke free spaces. A $50 cleaning fee will be added to your bill if you smoke in your room.
Same-Day Bookings: We understand that travelers might need to make an immediate booking. We’re happy to meet those needs if we can! However, due to our minimal staffing, a $25 dollar surcharge will be added to same day bookings. If you need a same day booking, please reach out to our Guest Services directly at (602) 791-2367.
Cancellations: Guests may cancel up to a week before their reservation without penalty. Reservations cancelled within a week prior will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of reservation.
